You want more Resident Evil? So does Capcom. Keiji Inafune Capcom's global head of production told the Spanish website 3DJuegos that the company plans to churn out Resident Evil 6 as soon as the bio engineers are ready.

"Given the great success which led to us Resident Evil 5 we want Resident Evil 6 to hit the market as soon as possible" Inafune said. "In fact Capcom will have news about this soon..."

That open-ended ellipsis obviously invites some speculation especially with the Tokyo Game Show taking place later this month. That's a large enough venue for a Resident Evil reveal so it would be a logical place for to Inafune make good on his promise. Capcom has already stated that they want to reduce the time between installments of their major franchises and a new Resident Evil would certainly be keeping with that policy.
