When Just Add Water announced that they had joined forces with Oddworld Inhabitants people naturally wanted to know what the two studios were working on. Some of the speculation can end thanks to the unveiling of the new HD remake of Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath in which the bounty hunter Stranger hunts down fugitives for cash. The reworked title will support Sony's Move and will include "additional bonus material still to be revealed."

That's the other thing. Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath will be coming to the PS3 - and only the PS3 if the press release is to be believed - sometime around Easter in 2011.

How's that for irony. An original XBox title is now being remade solely for the PS3. Ouch.

Stranger's Wrath will be available as a download via the PlayStation Network. The game may eventually make its way to the XBox Live Arcade but for now it's an invitation-only party.
